During the exhibition in the spring of 2026, we organize workshops silverpoint drawing by a Dutch specialist in the field. The exhibition hall is the centre of activities for the oldest painter's society of the Netherlands and therefore we thought it a appropiate occasion to highlight Leonardo's drawing technique in a hands on approach. Already in the beginning of 2026, the foundation has published a book on the previously unpublished letters of Beatrice d'Este as we found these artifacts in the Archivio di Stato in Modena. On the 10th of April we will also present the book that accompanies the exhibition: 'The Lucretia d'Este Da Vinci panel, in the light of his Studio', in which every detail of the painting, it's origin and history will be explained. Please subscribe to our zoom call of tuesday the 10th of March, starting 17:00 hours.
During the month of April workshops will be held to achieve more understanding about Leonardo's technique of silverpoint drawing as practisted in his workshop.
A spin off relating to this project is the book about the unpublished letters from the Modena Archive which can be ordered via the foundation BECI.
A typical example of Leonardo's fine silverpoint technique.
